Hi, I have installed this module but I can't see any difference between Counter Type PAGELOAD and SESSION. In both cases a page refresh increases the counter. I thought that this behaviour would happen just for PAGELOAD, while SESSION should increment the counter only once since the session should remain the same until the browser is closed. Thanks

Hi Gaspare, try to re-download the module and reinstall it again. I just fix the issue with the session.

Hi Andy and thanks for the quick reply. One last question: the website on which I would like to install it is already on DNN 9.10.2. I can proceed? Because you wrote me "it will be compatible"... is it not yet? If not, when? Thanks a lot.

Hi Andy, I just installed and activated the module version 01.00.00. Unfortunately, as Gaspare Carrani wrote in the post of May 20, 2020 I also point out that PAGELOAD and SESSION increase the counter when you refresh the page.

Hi Marco, could you redownload and reinstall it again. The session should only record the page hit once after it is visited.

Hi Andy, this time the reinstall worked! :) I confirm that the "Session" mode works correctly. One last question: is it possible to reset the hit counter if I want to install it on multiple pages? It would be great because I need to record the visits of every single sub-page of a specific section of the site. Thanx a lot and regards!

Sorry Marco, I have been so busy lately. The counter is based on the module id which is installed on page. So for example if you install a new install of this module. This will start with counter 0 value. If you want to reset it. Definitely you can. You just need to access to the database and look into the module settings table. The counter value is stored in there. Hopefully I answer your question. if not, just reply back on this message.

Hi, Andy and thanks for the feedback. I have checked and the counter starts correctly at 0 every time it is published on a page. Thanks for the information on resetting the number, we will need it! Bye!
