Why it is required to encode url string?

When you pass some data into url as query string, you need to make sure any special characters needed to be encoded so they can be understood by browsers and web server otherwise this may trigger an error on your site application. One of the most error example can happen is when passing a space into the url string. So my advise is always remember to encode a url especially for non alphabetic or special characters.
